About KIAA

The Kart Industry Association of Australia has been established to represent the interests of the Australian Karting Industry at an administrative level.

KIAA will do its utmost to ensure that any decisions relating to the karting industry are made rationally and with the long-term interest of the sport at its core.

KIAA will not interfere with individual class politics – its charter is to represent the industry as a whole and do its utmost to grow the sport so that everyone benefits – clubs from increased numbers, the AKA through increased license holders and competitors through increased competition.

The businesses that are eligible to be members of KIAA are as diverse as the sport itself. Currently, KIAA’s Member database includes representation from:

  • Importers
  • Manufacturers
  • Engine Builders
  • Media Agencies
  • Kart Shops

Essentially – anyone that derives an income from karting is eligible to be a member of the Association. Each member agrees to be bound to a strict code of ethics that governs their operating principles.

A key charter of the Association is ensuring customers that deal with KIAA members have the comfort of knowing that they are dealing with professionals in their field, and in the event of a dispute or misunderstanding, can lodge a complaint which KIAA will investigate on behalf of the customer.

Look for the KIAA member logo whenever you seek advice or to purchase products or services and have peace of mind that you are dealing with a dependable industry member.
